A new five bed residential care service for service users with a forensic history or formally detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 is opening shortly near Birmingham. The service is for adults with a learning disability who have a history of offending, including those subject to s.7 MHA 1983 Guardianship, s.17a MHA 1983 Community Treatment Orders (CTO), s.17 MHA 1983 leave and those subject to Conditional Discharge s.37/41 MHA 1983.
